Candace Eisner Strick knitted my Sanquhar Glove pattern Compass Rose for her husband Ken.  She knitted his initials in on one glove and hers on the other so he wouldn't forget who knitted them!

This is a photo of Ellen Shilling's At Sea in progress.  Rooti enjoys relaxing on her work!

Kay Ewing designed and knitted this little gansey for some happily anticipated new members of her family! She says, "I tried my hand at designing my own little child's gansey this time [after knitting Snakes and Ladders] and this is what I came up with. I'm working on the design for another one now. I really love knitting up these little sweaters. I can't thank you enough for teaching me how with your book :-) All the expectant mommies in my circle of friends and family are getting one."

Every year, at the Sonoma Knitting Guild Retreat, these fun-loving knitters come up with, and share, limericks! I taught at the November, 2004 Retreat and was presented with this limerick, dedicated to me and written by Dian Jorgensen:

There once was a Knitting Queen
Whose knitting was like no one had seen.
When taking her classes
We worked off our asses,
But everyone thought it was keen!

Andrea M's Batman finds he is one of few superheroes able to get his head through the gansey sampler from Beth's one day Gansey class. Doesn't he look smashing?

This is a picture of the group from the Panama Cruise that I took in January, 2003. Can you pick out Lucy Neatby?  We both enjoyed teaching on the ship!
